A new fully automated CIP Set and 3 Wash Backs for 200 year old Glen Scotia Distillery
Musk Engineering have commissioned a new fully automated CIP System, and three new stainless steel wash backs into Glen Scotia Distillery, Campbeltown, Scotland. Founded in 1832, Glen Scotia is one of the smallest distilleries in Scotland, with a history dating back to the Victorian age.
The new CIP Set has been commissioned to clean the existing copper Wash Still, as well as three new and six old Wash Backs. The CIP Set manufactured and tested off site at our Swadlincote workshops, was delivered as a skid unit to reduce the site installation period on the west coast of Scotland.
A fully automated system, controlled by a Rockwell PLC, and supplied with hardware allowing us to remotely monitor the equipment from our offices in Swadlincote reassures our customer that their remote location does not leave them feel exposed with the introduction of new technology.
