New Fermentation Vessel farm for Hall & Woodhouse Brewery
Hall & Woodhouse are a brewing company based in Dorset and originally founded in 1777. Today Hall & Woodhouse are proud to be a leading independent regional brewer. Over the past few years H&W have been expanding their new Fermentation Vessel farm to add a further 20 FV as part of their ongoing New Brewery Development Project. To date Musk has completed 3 major projects for H&W with a total value of around £3.8m so far.
Musk’s became involved with the 2nd phase of the brew house expansion following our involvement with the initial phase of the development. With the help of Musk Engineering, H&W have just completed the 2nd phase of the project which involved the provision of 9 new stainless steel vessels and the relocation of 7 existing vessels, along with a new dedicated cold CIP set and additional chiller system.
Musk’s provided a complete turnkey solution for H&W, being involved right from the process design up to the system commissioning and testing. This phase of the development was an extensive £1.3m project with a great deal of design work, manufacturing and installation all undertaken by Musk Engineering.
