The Lakes Distillery

Musk Engineering was involved in delivering a complete turnkey project for the new brewery that will produce this new whisky, along with The Lakes Gin and The Lakes Vodka. This included the brewery design, manufacture of stainless steel tanks & vessels, all of the associated stainless steel pipe work and the installation of the new brewery.

Diversey Care is a branch of the Sealed Air group. They have a central manufacturing facility in Derbyshire that produce ingredients for products such as Surf, Persil, Pledge and many more. The facility in Somercotes, Derbyshire, opened in 1991. They are supported by manufacturing plants and offices throughout Europe.

Thornbridge brewery is a privately owned brewery which produced their first beer in 2005. They now operate from two sites, the original site at Thornbridge Hall and a new state of the art brewery in Bakewell which opened in September 2009. They produce over 20 varieties of beer and have won in excess of 350 national and international awards including the “BBC Drinks Producer of the Year 2014”.

Marston’s Brewery

Marston's 4 No conditioning tanks project was a challenge from start to finish, initial challenge came from having fixed point plinths to locate the vessel legs onto, this lead onto the challenge when fixing the platform to the tops of the tanks, any variegations at the bottoms on the legs had an effect on the way the platform fit together at the top.

It was in 1986 that Hop Back history began, in a public house on the outskirts of Salisbury in Wiltshire. Within two years, the beers were achieving recognition at CAMRA's beer festivals. In 2000 the start of the expansion to the current site at Downton began, and 2016 saw the Installation of the New Musk Brewhouse Technology.

Cott’s Beverages

Cott’s produce various drinks and freeze pops at the factory, in Wrexham, the existing CIP system is not adequate to clean the system to the degree required. Musk have designed, manufactured, installed and commissioned a fully automated CIP system to clean the Bulk system and Multi system, each of these comprise of 10 mixing tanks, 10 holding tanks and 10 fillers that fill 5 different flavours and colours.

Ashland required a new manufacturing facility for Acrylic resins. An existing redundant reactor was re-purposed for this project and the plant modified accordingly with new tanks and equipment to ATEX standards.

Morpeth is the home of the ‘Abbey Well’ spring from which Coca-Cola produce the Glaceau Smartwater product line. Customer demand for this high quality bottled water was rapidly exceeded the capacity of the existing plant, and a significant expansion was necessary.
